LED billboard advertising in the Philippines: cost and how it works
Updated 2026-10-29 · JMCL Media & Marketing — 13 years in out-of-home advertising
LED (digital) billboards let you run video and change your ad anytime, on screens in the busiest parts of Metro Manila and major cities. We list 114 LED screens. In Metro Manila they typically cost ₱240,000 – ₱612,000 a month; provincial screens typically ₱240,000 – ₱357,000.
How LED billboards work
Unlike a static billboard, an LED screen is shared. Your ad plays as a spot (commonly 10 to 30 seconds) in a loop with other advertisers, repeating all day — often hundreds of times. Each site on our list shows its own spot length, loop and operating hours where available.
LED vs static billboard
| LED billboard | Static billboard | |
|---|---|---|
| Creative | Video or motion; change anytime | One printed design for the booking |
| Production cost | None to print — just the video file | Tarpaulin printing + installation |
| Share of time | Shared loop with other brands | Yours 24/7 |
| Minimum booking | Often shorter terms or per-spot options | Usually 3 months |
| Best for | Launches, promos, time-sensitive offers, multiple messages | Long-term brand presence, landmark visibility |
Where the screens are
Most of our LED inventory is in Metro Manila — Makati, BGC, Quezon City (Cubao/Araneta), Mandaluyong and along EDSA — plus mall and city-centre screens in Cebu, Davao and Pampanga. Indoor mall networks are also available for retail brands.
Creative tips for LED
- Keep it short and readable: one message, big text, logo on screen the whole time.
- Design for no sound — most LED billboards are silent.
- Check the exact pixel size and file format for each screen before producing.
- Ads still need Ad Standards Council clearance; we help with this.
