What affects the price
- Location and traffic. EDSA and C5 command the highest rates because of daily vehicle volume and gridlock dwell time. Expressway sites (SLEX, NLEX, Skyway) are priced for long, clear sightlines at speed.
- Size and visibility. Bigger faces cost more, but angle matters just as much — a smaller billboard facing oncoming traffic often beats a larger one seen side-on.
- Facing and direction. Northbound vs southbound can differ by a lot depending on which direction is congested at peak hours.
- Contract length. Most billboards are booked for a minimum of 3 months. Longer commitments (6–12 months) usually unlock better monthly rates.
- Season. The Christmas season (October to December) and election periods fill up first — book early.
Costs on top of the rental
- Production (printing + installation). Tarpaulin printing and installation are usually billed per square foot — from about ₱35/sq ft at JMCL. A 30 × 40 ft billboard (1,200 sq ft) is roughly ₱42,000 to print and install. Some promos include the first production.
- Ad material approval. Most ads in the Philippines need clearance from the Ad Standards Council (ASC) before they go up. We help prepare and file this.
- VAT. Rates are usually quoted exclusive of 12% VAT.
Static billboard vs LED billboard
A static billboard gives you the whole face 24/7 for the month. An LED billboard shares the screen with other advertisers in a loop, but lets you change creative instantly and run video. Metro Manila LED screens typically cost ₱240,000 – ₱612,000 a month.
